Американская ска-панк группа Sublime объявила о воссоединении. Как сообщает Billboard, свой первый за 13 лет концерт коллектив даст в рамках фестиваля Smokeout, который пройдет 23-24 октября в калифорнийском Сан-Бернардино. Помимо басиста Эрика Уилсона и барабанщика Бада Гоу в состав трио на смену покойному Брэдли Новеллу войдет вокалист и гитарист Ром (Rome). О возможной записи коллективом нового материала пока ничего не сообщается. Группа Sublime была основана в 1986 году и за свою карьеру успела выпустить три студийных альбома, разошедшихся тиражом более 17 миллионов экземпляров. Наибольшей популярностью пользовался третий диск коллектива, Sublime (1996), занявший 13-е место в американском хит-параде. Sublime with Rome is a musical collaboration between Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, formerly of the band Sublime, and singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez. The group chiefly performs songs by Sublime, which was fronted by Bradley Nowell until his death in 1996.
Ramirez began performing with Gaugh and Wilson in 2009, where they played under the name Sublime, until Nowell's estate issued a legal challenge to the use of the trademarked name for a venture not including Nowell. As a result, they changed their name to Sublime with Rome in January 2010. The group played at the 2009 Smokeout Festival and embarked on their first tour in 2010, and released their debut album, Yours Truly, on July 12, 2011. (en.)

Fueled By Ramen group, Sublime With Rome, present their highly-anticipated debut album, Yours Truly. Featuring founding members of Sublime, drummer Bud Gaugh and bass player Eric Wilson with new frontman, singer/guitarist Rome - Sublime With Rome is reintroducing themselves and Sublime's music to fans across the country. Rome, a 21-year-old northern California native, was introduced to Gaugh and Wilson in 2008. In 2010, a handful of jam sessions led to an impromptu show at a small club in Nevada flooring a packed-house crowd. The trio later performed a one-off at the Smokeout Festival in the fall of 2010 and was a surprise special guest at the infamous KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show, before officially dubbing themselves Sublime with Rome. The band returned to the stage for the first time in 14-years, fittingly on 4/20/10 for two highly anticipated, sold out nights at the Hollywood Palladium to rave reviews. The California-based combo recorded Yours Truly at El Paso, Texas' Sonic Ranch studio with producer Paul Leary.
