Switchface is an electro-industrial project founded in 2006 by Tomasz Nook Rospendowski. In its beginnings it was purely instrumental and seeking its own style, only to define itself in 2011 on the first LP entitled The Face-Off. That was the very first release that contained Nook's own vocals. The style of Switchface can be described by broken beats, a large dose of melodies and a bit of industrial noise put together. If you're seeking something to dance to, Switchface will satisfy your cravings as well. On Might Over Matter EP from 2012 and The Facestealer LP from 2015 you'll find a wide range of dark electronic sounds; starting with electro-pop songs, some electro-industrial stompers and dark dancefloor killers. Nook - as a producer - doesn't like boredom and stagnation in his creative process, and his latest EP called Spinal Transplant Procedure is the perfect example of it. This release can be best described as a crafty blend of heavy guitar riffage and electro-industrial sounds. Aside from the original material, Switchface has provided remixes for the top acts in the Polish scene - like Controlled Collapse, Reactor7x or H.EXE - or cult acts like :Wumpscut: Since 2018 Switchface is a duet - Michał Kałużny (aka Witcher) joined the fray as a live guitarist and the upcoming new release should be a team effort.
