W is for the whistle-blowers, web-hackers and waste management. We are one click away from a world increasingly dominated by capitalism in free-fall, a world whrein our children are dropbombed every nanosecond of their online existence with propaganda and mind control. Our young people are not so naïve as to neglect the fact that they must maintain and develop alternative strategies by which to copy. Making a use of the things that they find, things that everyday folk leave behind, has led them to develop political, musical and environmental recycling mindsets more than capable of spinning the old world order on its head.
O is for optimists, overthrow and outlaws. To effectively combat the aggression and strategies of the powers that be, the only option we believe available is one of cool collaborating, collectivising and the development of autonomous projects. Grow your own veg, start your own record label, kick down the doors of Babylon, hold an illegal rave and do it in the joy and strength of collective power. We're many and they are few.
M is for mentalists, militants and mutators. Technology, whilst a vehicle for snooping, state control and multinational skullduggery has also enabled us to fastforward through the processes of yesteryear and formulate, develop and execute our ideas with a speed and efficacy unheard of before. Consequently we are now in a position to produce, distribute and control all our own material....we might not sell records, films will become as cheap to make as chips. Therin lies the gap through which the militant will slide....micro organisms destabilising an increasingly shaky macro world.
B is beats bass and beheadings. Beats and basslines remain as capable of blowing the walls of Jericho down today asa they did 3000 years ago. A beat can hurt you-a bassline can heal you-depends how you use them. Young and old (black and white) will always wanna unite for a good old fashioned knees up...even if they've been capped.
L is for love, liberation and laughing. Our main aim ultimately is for a better happier world liberated from misery. Laughter is so canned in the modern world there aint no room for us worms. The only option for us is two sliver sniper-like through the gutters and guts of our cities until we are ready to spawn and contaminate the planet with love. Happiness is a warm gun with an anonymous smile at the end of the barrel.
E is endtimes, executioners and ecstacy. Endtimes is star-time depending on how you wire the bomb....the underground shall be overground, the WOMBLE shall be free and only those willing to execute will be delicate enough to wear the flowers of revolution.
