BIOGRAPHY:

Goatwhore was formed by singer/guitarist Sammy Duet following the breakup of his previous band, Acid Bath. Soilent Green singer L. Ben Falgoust II, guitarist Ben Stout, bassist Patrick Bruders, and drummer Zak Nolan completed the lineup, which debuted with the demo Serenades to the Tides of Blood; Goatwhore's proper debut LP, The Eclipse of Ages into Black, followed in early 2000. Funeral Dirge for the Rotting Sun appeared in 2003 before the band jumped to Metal Blade for fall 2006's A Haunting Curse.
Goatwhore has confirmed they are currently writing new material for a brand new studio album. Guitarist Sammy Duet says: “We are well into it. I won’t go in the whole, ‘This one is gonna be the heaviest one yet, blah blah blah,’ but it’s gonna be pretty damn heavy. I am really happy with what we have written so far.” “If all goes to plan, we will enter Mana Studios in early February. Hopefully we will do some shows before then. Other than that, I’m just sitting on my ass being bored. I miss being on tour, but I guess you have to take what you can get.'
On April 10th they embarked on tour opening for headliner Amon Amarth. They are also playing with Skeletonwitch and Lazarus AD.
