... Marillion возродил надежду на будущее и дал пищу для размышлений. Открыл новые грани направления и тем самым навсегда вписал своё имя в летопись музыкальной цивилизации. Стал одним из создателей нового стилистического образования, имя которому нео-арт-рок, и в нём остался наиболее узнаваемым коллективом, одной из немногих выдающихся формаций. О Marillion можно говорить до бесконечности, подыскивая какие-угодно эпитеты, находя красивую форму, но в любом случае передать то настроение, которое захлёстывает до сих пор истинных поклонников британской легенды, невозможно. В общем и целом, если пытаться отыскать место команды в истории арт-рока, то получится следующее: Marillion явился неким переходным периодом ... но не от обезьяны к человеку, а от классического арт-рока к нео-подразделениям знаменитого стиля...
