Adrift is Wino's first acoustic release and his
second solo recording. Contains a cover of
Motorhead's “Iron Horse/Born To Lose”. Wino has
most recently performed in Neurot's Supergroup,
Shrinebuilder and previously in Saint Vitus, The
Obsessed, Spirit Caravan and The Hidden Hand. Wino
has been bringing his unique Sabbath-inspired
Doom/Stoner rock to us for the past three decades.
With one solo album released in 2009, Wino's next
solo project is one of acoustic proportions; his
most stripped down and personal to date. Adrift
follows the classic American singer-songwriter
structure with a mix of storytelling and
verbalised emotions fit to acoustic guitar,
placing Wino on a level with great songwriters
such as Johnny Cash, John Sebastian, Woodie
Guthrie and Bob Dylan.
