The Eternal Twilight's debut album “Everything Resembles You” is out.
Indian sub-continent based internet musical project, The Eternal Twilight, has finally released their debut nostalgic ambient/post-rock effort called “Everything Resembles You”. The album has already started making roar on the web.
The album may well put subcontinent on global ambient/post-rock map.
'Everything Resembles You' is a collection of songs that were composed and recorded during approximately 18 months. The project went through different development phases during this period of time.
From planning to release a small demo(containing covers mostly) to planning to release an EP with rough sound and now finally, the end product. A Full Length album.
The album also features very talented guest musicians such as Quinn Montoya from USA and his band My Cats A Stargazer(which was pretty well received in the growing post-rock community worldwide).
Not to forget an unknown yet talented german ambient guitarist, Christian Erfurt, who did brilliant guitars on one of the tracks. The album is mastered by Quinn Montoya.
The band's musical influences range from Hammock to Sigur Ros to Brian Eno to Eluvium to Helios and Flica. Genres such as ambient music, modern classical, minimalism, drone, post rock, shoegaze and ethereal have shaped their sound.
While thematically its product of Nostalgia, Childhood Memories, Hope, Love, Mountains, Travelling and lots of inspiration from personal lives and light hearted movies.
The Eternal Twilight primarily consists of two young musicians and friends. Noor Kadiwala based in Mumbai, India and Abbas Haider(also in Necktarium) from Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
It all started when these two very young like minded musicians decided to make something new and refreshing out from their music tastes. Something which sub-continent has hardly ever experienced.
